Privacy & Analytics

The short version

We run our own analytics on our own server. There are no cookies, no advertising trackers, no Google Analytics, and nothing is sold or shared with anyone. It is off by default and only runs if you choose “Allow”.

What we record, if you allow it

• Which pages you view, and when.
• A random ID stored in your browser so we can tell one visit from another. It is not linked to your name and tells us nothing about who you are.
• Links and buttons you click — including the “Book Your Free Discovery Call” button, which is the main thing we want to understand.
• How far down a page you scroll, and how much of the video you watch.
• Your country, worked out at our server from your network address.
• The website that sent you here, and any campaign tag in the link you followed.
• Your screen size, and whether you are on a phone, tablet or computer.

What we never record

• Your name, email address or phone number. If you book a call, you give those to Calendly directly — they never pass through this website.
• Your IP address. It is scrambled beyond recovery the moment it arrives and the original is discarded. We cannot reverse it.
• Anything you type. There are no forms on this site.

How long we keep it

We keep it for as long as the website is running. Analytics is only useful by comparison — this January against last January — and deleting older records would throw that away.

None of it is linked to your name, email or any contact detail, so we cannot look you up by name. Records are grouped by the random ID held in your browser, so if you want yours deleted, email andreasbeirnefitness@gmail.com and we will remove them. You can also stop new records being created at any time using the Analytics preferences link at the foot of every page.

Changing your mind

You can withdraw or grant permission at any time using the Analytics preferences link in the footer of every page. Declining costs you nothing and changes nothing about how the site works.

Who else sees it

Nobody. The data sits in a database we control and is used only to improve this website. It is not shared, sold, or used for advertising.
